Gorontalo District is located in the middle of Gorontalo Province, flanked by other districts. There are 2 main natural resource potentials, namely Limboto Lake and Limboto Watershed, which are in the process of revitalization from sedimentation that has occurred years before. In addition, Gorontalo Regency is actively promoting the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions through sustainable agricultural practices that integrates agriculture, farming, waste management, and usage of renewable energy.
